Hello, Dear Readers!
It's good to be back!
I’d like to explain why I stopped writing for a couple of years.
November 2017 I was walking on a crosswalk with my husband when we were both hit by a car. My husband broke his back and damaged the muscles in his rotator cuff. After four months of rest and one surgery, he's back to his normal life.
My injuries were a little different. The car initially hit my hip and that forced my head to slam into the car. Which gave me a brain injury. I've been in occupational and speech therapy. In 2018, I tried to write, and I couldn't even form a paragraph. It was very discouraging. Over time I learned to read and write again. It's been a struggle but now I have reworked my book previously known as The Perfect Match. It's now called The Guarded Love. It feels great to have a book on the market again.
As I have learned to love the new me, here’s some knowledge I’ve gained. Find joy in each day. Spend time with loved ones and let them know how important they are. Don't worry about small things everything will be sorted out.
In our personal stories, life will always throw a plot twist. It’s how we handle those challenges that shapes our character.
Whether you’re in your personal peak or valley, you deserve time for yourself. Let’s escape and recharge together.
